Wani bincike da aka yi a shekarar 2013 ya gano cewa maza masu fama da matsalar rashin ƙarfin mazakuta waɗanda suka sha 1,400 MG na ruwan 'ya'yan itacen ginseng kowace rana na tsawon makonni 8 sun inganta aikin jima'i sosai idan aka kwatanta da marasa lafiya da suka sha placebo.
A cewar Gans, shaidu daga binciken da aka yi kwanan nan sun nuna cewa sinadaran ginsenoside da ke cikin ginseng na iya taimakawa wajen daidaita matakan sukari a jini.
"Ginseng na iya taimakawa wajen inganta tsarin glucose metabolism, wanda zai iya taimakawa wajen sarrafa sukari a jini," kuma yana iya taimakawa wajen magance ciwon suga na nau'in 2, in ji Gellman.
Ginseng kuma yana taimakawa wajen rage kumburi, wanda yake da mahimmanci domin kumburi yana ƙara haɗarin kamuwa da ciwon suga ko kuma ƙara ta'azzara alamun ciwon suga.
Wani bita na 2019 kan bincike takwas ya gano cewa ƙarin ginseng yana taimakawa wajen inganta sarrafa sukari a jini da kuma yadda ake amfani da insulin, muhimman abubuwa guda biyu wajen kula da ciwon suga.
Idan kana son gwada ƙarin ginseng, ya kamata ka tuntuɓi likitanka don tabbatar da cewa ba ya haifar da matsala ga duk wani magani ko yanayin lafiya na yanzu.
"Mutane ya kamata su duba tare da likitan abinci mai rijista da/ko mai ba da sabis na kiwon lafiya kafin su fara kari saboda kowane dalili na likita," in ji Hans.
